Friday... Just Friday!!!

I'm glad it's Friday but really it seems that time is flying by anymore and the weekend doesn't excite me as much. But it's Friday and time for some Nail Files!! I'm linking with with Tara & Vicki.. We hope you will link up as well and show us what you are wearing!

This week I dug into my stash for some colors I haven't wore yet.. but I have to say these are two colors I won't be wearing again... I just don't like the formula no mater how many times I try these brands. 

The Pink is Zoya Sweet and the Blue Green is China Glaze For Audrey. 

I really love these colors though they are so pretty and especially together. 

When I was picking out the colors I was going to use I discovered I may have an addiction to this mint green shade.

Nailing it Friday!!!

Wow has it been that long since my last post? We had a sickness roll through the house a few weeks back and it took both the kids out and my youngest has Asthma so his turned into Pneumonia really fast and it was bad. Then I got sick with Bronchitis and that has kicked my Ass. I was down for 2 weeks and I'm still not 100%. I can function for about 30 minutes and I need a nap. 

So, I haven't done much in the way of Manicures lately.. That last one with the Butter London lasted a while and then I finally had to give in and remove it. I picked up the O.P.I Bond Girl mini 4pk of Liquid Sand shades. I know I said I wasn't going to but I had to have Pussy Galore.. That pink ROCKS!

These Liquid Sand Shades are great for a quick Manicure and they last a very long time! 

This week I'm wearing Stay The Night from the Mariah Carey Collection where they first introduced the Liquid Sand Shades.

What's Up for the Weekend!

Yay!! We all made it through another week. I don't know about you but I was tried. Too much fun over last weekend maybe..lol I was able to escape the Mountain for an overnight trip to Central PA to hang with some of my friends for the Annual First Day of Fishing Bar tour. We had a blast... Those girls are Crazy on that Bus in between bars.. Ha Ha

Tomorrow is WICKED I can't wait.. Hubby and I bought tix for our Anniversary that's coming up this month. We get to spend the day in Rochester  NY I can't wait to see a real Mall again, and I'm hoping to find my way into a Sephora!

This week's Manicure... is another one of those Butter London's I purchased a few weeks ago. And for an accent I used an Old Favorite.. It's getting a bit Goopy though I noticed. I used Butter London "Hardware" Top Coat.

Beauty Butler Saves the Day!!! (Pix Heavy)

Have you seen the Beauty Butler? When I saw it I had to have one. This thing is awesome! 

My Makeup , while not as much as it used to be is still a lot. I've paired down with the last move and then again when I organized it recently. And too me this is still a lot, because last time I checked I only had one face.. lol

Here is what it looked like before: 

This is a shelf in a cabinet in my closet. Palettes on top, Brushes in the container with the red lid and my must used in the clear bin. There is a Drawer for Eyes, Face & Lips.

Then in the Bathroom I have a container with my Foundations in it.

I took everything out and disposed of what was old or I didn't really used anymore. Then I broke open the Beauty Butler and got started. 

I purchased the Diva 3pk (3 trays) & 1 Flirt tray w/Clear Vinyl Makeup Bag. 

These are trays with a velcro cover and you adhere your cosmetics to them with velcro dots and everything stays in place.You can hold the tray and use everything right off the tray. No more digging to find something. I laid everything out where I wanted it first on the tray..

Then I applied the Velcro dots (on smaller items I trimmed the velcro)..

Organized and in one place! 

Then you just put the trays in the bag and you have everything in one place.. I'll need to purchase another one for my Palettes though..lol 

Overall I'm very happy with this, it works for me and I love that I can see everything. I went away this past weekend and I was able to have everything I could want with me instead of having to pick and choose what to take.

1. What's the story behind your blog's name? My life is crazy chaos or it used to be before my husband retired from the Military. I was always running around everywhere and things were hectic. And I sometimes feel a bit Wicked..lol

Friday, Friday!!!

Well Hello there!! I disappeared again, Oops.. What can I say life just gets crazy sometimes. I haven't been online much at all in the past few weeks and my emails are backed up again. I still need to get around and leave some comments as well.

But it's Friday and time for some Nail Porn..lol I'm linking up with Tara & Vicki for the Nail Files.. After you see what I've been wearing be sure to head over and check out what the other ladies are wearing this week..I always find new colors I need to add to my stash.

I suffered some major breakage with my nails a few weeks ago and it was not pretty. I'm not sure what is going on but it seems like the more Hand Lotion & Cuticle creams I use the worse my Skin gets. So I'm done with all Cuticle creams except for Solar Oil and Hand creams I'm sticking with what I know works. Sensitive Skin is just a bit too temperamental to experiment with. 

I had to trim my nails pretty short and wow did I forget how hard it was to paint short stubby nails. I went with the Liquid Sand Finish polish from the O.P.I Great and Powerful Oz Collection in What Wizardly is this? 

O.P.I is releasing a Summer Collection with 6 of these Liquid Sand finishes that tie in with the Bond collection they released last fall.. I won't be getting these. I own 3 of these finishes and I just don't like them. I will admit they wear pretty well though. I wore this for 2 weeks even with the chips. For me it's a texture thing. 

I do love that Pussy Galore color though... Great Pink! I gave myself a mini mani and cleaned my nails up again. This week I used a Kat Von D polish in No Regrets. I love this color.. It reminds me of being 13 again and such a girly color. Metallics like these always wear well.

Nailing it Friday!!!

It's Friday and the start of Spring Break for my kiddos.. They don't get a whole week off though... Just Friday, Monday & Tuesday. I guess the school figured they'd use the weekend to get the extra days in there. It's still snowing though so I have no idea what we will get out and do. I'm thinking a week long PJ Day..lol

Remember last week I showed you the O.P.I When Monkey's Fly and I mentioned that it curled really bad. Well a big Thank You to Kali for letting me know that it wasn't supposed to do that and O.P.I was making it right.

Today's Mani is a new color from my Stash.. NARS ORGASM. I love this Blush color and thought it'd be a gorgeous nail color.

I actually think I'm a bit too pale for this color on my nails.. but after a few hours it grew on me. I don't think it's one I will reach for a lot though. It went on really sheer this is 3 coats.. and a bit streaky. I'll let you know how the wearability is in a few days.
